Balanced Life Behavioral health was established to create a positive patient care experience. The team at Balanced Life knows firsthand the difficulties patients can experience finding a great provider who takes the time to make them feel welcome and understands that their time and issues are important. Changing your life does not mean you have to do it alone. We know it can be difficult to reach out and get help to address your mental health needs and that is why our main goal at Balanced Life is to make you feel comfortable so that you can address your concerns. To accomplish this we offer a supportive environment with longer appointment times. We respect your time and keep our wait times to a minimum by not overbooking appointments.
At Balanced Life we care about your mental health and have providers who will create an individualized treatment plan for each client and follow up closely providing expert care along the way. Remember life is all about balance and this is true for medications also. We will work together with each client to find the right balance of medications along with therapy and other behavioral health changes to help you succeed in life.
Jordan Carley, MSN, PMHNP-BC
is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with training and experience treating patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan and across practice settings.
At a young age, Jordan experienced firsthand how a family can struggle with income insecurity and how a positive attitude and commitment to growth can increase resilience. Since his childhood, Jordan has made it his goal to assist others through life and its challenges – which is what he does every day as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
Jordan gathered his inspiration from watching his hardworking and resilient immigrant mother succeed in life. He worked in a 5-star resort and casino valet while earning his nursing degree. While working at a 5-star resort he learned that it’s not only the service you provide, but how you provide it and has made customer service one of his top priorities when treating a patient.
He says he often sees patients when they’re in their lowest points in their life. His role as a psychiatric nurse practitioner allows him to practice kindness and empathy to help these patients recover.
His education includes a Master of Science in Nursing, with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specialization, from Eastern Kentucky University. Jordan brings to the clinic his idea of holistic care for not only the mind but also the body, along with the commitment to provide 5-star, personalized, and comprehensive care for patients.
